Job summary

The Salvation Army Fresno ARC is looking for a friendly Donation Attendant to help manage the donation trailer area, assist donors, and process receipts. You will help maintain neatness around the trailer, support loading donations onto trucks, and keep paperwork in order.

This full-time role offers benefits, flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth. The position requires basic reading/writing, good communication, and a willingness to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check, including criminal history and sex offender registry.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and cleaning the donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift.
• Assisting donors with receipt of donated items and providing receipts.
• Maintaining reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Sorting donated material into proper containers and stacking as directed.
• Assisting TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Informing supervisor of needed items (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes).
• Securing and locking donation trailer/pod at end of shift.
