Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external guests.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting donors and safely unloading donations from vehicles.
• Accurately record donations.
• Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Operate manual and/or power equipment safely (depending on location).
• Keep donation area clean and free of debris.
• Complete donor receipts and offer a copy to the donor.
• Sort donated items into designated categories.
• Follow safety and security practices, reporting hazards or injuries.
• Maintain a neat uniform and appearance.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist truck and driver helper with loading/unloading donations.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Required Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to walk, stoop, stand, bend, lift, kneel, and climb for prolonged periods (up to 7 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of previous work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in warehouse settings, including pallet packing and forklift operation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Multilingual abilities, including proficiency in English.
