Goodwill is seeking a donation attendant to accept, sort, and organize donated items at our Altoona, PA locations. You will greet donors, issue receipts, and assist with unloading donations while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities include categorizing items, pricing per guidelines, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting truck loading/unloading. Some duties require lifting and standing for extended periods; training and background checks are provided.
Classification: Non-exempt, subject to overtime provisions of Fair Labor Standards Act.

Job Purpose:
A Goodwill donation attendant is responsible for accepting, sorting, and organizing donated items at Goodwill stores or donation centers.
Qualifications:
Education: No formal education is required.
Experience: No experience is necessary.
Clearances: Must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and Pennsylvania Criminal History Check. Goodwill will pay for
these clearances.
Supervision Received:
The Team Member functions under the direction of the Store Manager.
