Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Arkansa is seeking a Donated Goods Associate to support store operations by processing, pricing, merchandising, and cashiering donated items. You will rotate through donor door, processing, pricing, and stocking to meet daily goals and deliver an ACE customer experience.

The role requires the ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a busy retail environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail, cashier, or warehouse experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Accurately process sales transactions at the register, including cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Receive, unload, and sort donated goods; determine quality and usability based on guidelines.
• Hang, tag, price, and stock donated merchandise to meet production and sales goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, donation area, stockroom, and restrooms.
• Follow safety standards and loss prevention procedures.
• Flex between cashier, production, and sales floor duties as needed.
• Complete required training and certifications within 30 days of hire.
