Job summary

Goodwill of Silicon Valley is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to process donated items for sale. You will pre-sort, sort, grade, clean, hang and package donations across clothing, housewares, books, toys and more in a busy warehouse environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, accuracy in classification, and teamwork with the vocational services program. This is an on-site position with opportunities to contribute to reuse and community impact.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to handle routine sorting tasks.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sort, sort, grade, clean, hang and package donated items for sale.
• Separate and grade items according to predetermined criteria.
• Remove surface dirt from glassware and small wares for sale or disposal.
• Tag and price items; place items into containers with storage labels.
• Work with co-workers and vocational services as requested.
