Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County is seeking a Donated Goods Retail Associate for the Concord Store in Chadds Ford, PA. You will support store and donation center operations while delivering excellent service to shoppers and donors.

Responsibilities include unloading donations, sorting and processing items, stocking displays, and operating the register. This role may work across multiple areas as business needs require, creating a dynamic team environment.

Goodwill is seeking customer-focused, energetic team members to join our Concord Store in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. As a Donated Goods Retail Associate, you will support retail store and donation center operations while delivering outstanding service to shoppers and donors.

This position may work in a variety of operational areas based on business needs and training, including customer service, sales floor merchandising, donation receiving, and merchandise processing. Responsibilities may vary from day to day, creating a dynamic and engaging work environment.

What You Will Do

• Provide friendly and helpful service to shoppers and donors.


• Greet donors and assist with unloading donated items.


• Receive, sort, process, and prepare donated merchandise for sale.


• Stock merchandise and maintain organized, attractive sales floor displays.


• Operate a cash register and assist customers at checkout when assigned.


• Accurately record donation information and provide donor receipts.


• Load, unload, and move merchandise safely throughout the facility.


• Maintain clean, safe, and organized sales, production, and donation areas.


• Follow established safety procedures and use equipment appropriately.


• Support store, donation center, and production activities as operational needs change.


• Work collaboratively with team members to meet store goals and advance Goodwill’s mission.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds frequently.


• Ability to handle donated goods and merchandise throughout the workday.
