Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a store team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, processing donated merchandise for sale. Starting pay is $15.15 per hour.

You will price, tag, stock merchandise, maintain safety, and support store operations in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to pass background checks. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, meets minimum quota and sell-thru targets.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Safeguards company property, including donated goods.
• Reports any incidents of theft, pre-selection, misappropriation or unauthorized possession of company property.
• Maintains sales floor and workstation by following floorwork and PPM standards.
• Stocks merchandise in appropriate area as assigned.
• Exercise judgment to inform leader of potentially hazardous materials found while processing merchandise.
• Follow safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment; ability to lift, bend, push.
