Job summary

Goodwill Kings Canyon in Fresno, CA is seeking a Donated Goods Processor to handle donated items from sorting to stocking. You may also operate the cash register, POS system, PDA, camera, and other devices as needed at the location.

The role requires a flexible day schedule and physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Under supervision, you will sort, price, photograph and list merchandise, ensuring quality and presentation to maximize sales.

Qualifications

• Education: Some high school education.
• Experience: Six months' experience in processing, warehousing or customer service desirable.
• Knowledge: Retail store operations or warehousing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sorts, tags, hangs and stages saleable items efficiently.
• Assesses quality, style, type and use; tags and lists items per guidelines.
• Operates cash register and POS with accuracy and follows cash handling policies.
• Merchandises, photographs and lists merchandise to boost sales potential.
• Provides courteous customer service to shoppers and donors.
