Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in our retail stores. The role involves processing goods quickly to meet daily production goals, with opportunities to rotate across work areas and support overall store operations.

The ideal candidate communicates well, works both independently and in a team, and maintains a neat, safe workspace while following training playbooks and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Effectively communicate with management and other team members.
• Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Perform tasks as trained and keep work area neat and organized.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
