The DON will oversee recruitment, scheduling, performance, care planning, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely access to equipment and supplies and maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in good standing with the State of Texas.
• Proven leadership experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and a restorative care approach.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excels in organization, communication, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff.
• Step in to assist on the floor to maintain high-quality care when needed.
• Review payroll submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor resident records for accuracy and appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
• Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and supplies.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes.
