Job summary

Magid Glove &Safety is seeking a Domestic Purchasing Associate in Romeoville, IL to manage the internal inbox, resolve PO discrepancies, and support month-end processes. The role emphasizes ERP systems experience, strong Excel skills, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to improve purchasing efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in purchasing, a related Bachelor's degree, and excellent communication and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Experience with AS400 or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Domestic Buyer inbox and serve as the main internal contact.
• Resolve discrepancies in POs, inventory, pricing, and data.
• Reconcile monthly vendor rebates and process credits.
• Generate monthly reports on purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance.
• Support month-end activities and system updates for the purchasing team.
