Job summary

JP Morgan Chase is seeking a Vice President Domain Intelligence Engineer in Document Management Platform to govern enterprise document management tech and build AI tooling for scalable assessments. You will partner with platform engineers and architecture stakeholders to improve decision quality and ensure traceable outputs.

Within 90 days, align initiatives to capabilities; publish a knowledge base. In 6 months, deliver automated triage matching requests to capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years in technology governance, architecture review, or platform engineering in a large enterprise.
• Proficiency in Python and building automation/evaluation pipelines.
• Experience designing knowledge bases and RAG solutions with embeddings and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the document management domain intelligence lead for governance guidance.
• Evaluate inbound technology requests and map to capabilities; route for review as needed.
• Maintain and improve domain capability taxonomy and consistent classification.
• Identify capability gaps and translate into inputs for the platform roadmap.
• Apply rubric-based assessments; produce defensible recommendations and records.
• Design and maintain a governed knowledge base for capability definitions and decisions.
• Implement RAG pipelines over authoritative docs for citation-backed responses.
• Develop agentic evaluation workflows to draft recommendations and score requests.
• Create natural-language query experiences about capabilities and outcomes.
• Instrument workflows with metrics and publish governance reporting.
• Create proofs of concept to validate alignment with services or new investments.
