Job summary

Dolan Auto Group in Reno is seeking an Express/Lube Technician to perform oil and filter changes per manufacturer specs. You will inspect fluids, rotate tires, replace wear items, and keep the shop clean and organized. You will also complete MPI forms and report any issues to the foreman.

Responsibilities

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Install new oil drain plug gasket and oil filter during lube, oil and filter change.
• Inspect vehicle and refill fluids; maintain proper fluid levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station and facility.
• Rotate tires and balance as needed; replace wiper blades.
• Inspect for fluid leaks and report issues to foreman.
• Complete MPI forms documenting tires, brakes, and fluid conditions.
• Notify foreman of additional issues discovered.

We offer a generous comprehensive compensation and benefits package.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Must be ready for work in uniform at start of shift.Check and communicate oil level to other teammates.Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, including spare tire.Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.Install a new oil drain plug gasket and new oil filter while performing lube, oil and filter change.Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.Inspect vehicle after service for fluid leaks.Maintain a clean work station.Clean and maintain facility.Install accessories.Operate Windows based programs.Notify foreman if any additional issues are discovered.Rotate tires (do not use customers wheel lock key, only shop supplied key).Change wiper blades.Tire repair.Tire balance.Remove tires from shop, dispose of in designated disposal area and keep tire area clean.Minimum expectation of labor dollars produced in a pay period (on a 2 person team) $6500.00.Fill out multi point inspection (MPI) forms that record measurements of tires, brakes, and conditions of fluids, belt hoses etc.Pursuant to Nevada Assembly bill 132, this position has been identified as affecting public safety.
