Job summary

Barks & Recreation is seeking part-time dog-walkers who enjoy the outdoors and want flexibility. You’ll spend your day outdoors with dogs, walking, hiking, and providing care visits.

Earn $16.95/hr plus tips, with paid mileage and flexible scheduling. No experience? We’ll train you. Growth opportunities exist if you’re interested in advancing into other roles.

• Enjoy working independently, but not alone

What You’ll Do:

• Dog walks, trail hikes, and pet care visits
• Check in on pets while pet parents are busy
• Share visit updates + photos of your visits (yes, it’s part of the job!)
• Build relationships with pets and our amazing team

The Schedule:

• Minimum availability is 3 days/week (2 of them M-F)
• 4+ consecutive hours between 9AM-4PM - availability outside of that a bonus!

Pay + Perks:

• $16.95/hr + tips (average $3-9/hr)

What You’ll Need:

• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Smartphone with internet, GPS + a good camera
• A love for animals and being active outdoors

No experience? No problem, we’ll train you. People who have had their own dogs tend to thrive in this role!
