Job summary

TAILored Pet Services LLC is seeking a skilled dog trainer to lead structured daycare, 1-on-1 training, and off-site adventures. You will supervise groups of dogs with positive reinforcement, ensuring safe play and clear communication with owners.

A valid license to drive the van is required, and you’ll enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends. The role emphasizes a training-first daycare culture, diverse daily tasks including classes and route walks, and provides all training

Qualifications

Professional dog training certification (CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, IAABC, etc.) or formal dog training education, with hands-on positive-reinforcement methods and canine behavior knowledge.
Strong group management skills for dogs of all sizes, reading body language, safe, positive play, and independent classroom leadership.
Valid driver's license with clean record to drive the company van.
Positive energy, team player, clear owner communication, and enthusiasm every day.

Responsibilities

Lead small-group daycare and 1-on-1 Daycare & Train sessions.
Lead Walk & Train routes and teach classes.
Load the company van for off-site adventures.
Utilize structured play and behavioral wellness in a training-first daycare culture.
