Are you an enthusiastic and skilled dog trainer with a passion for helping dogs and their owners build strong, positive relationships? Ruffin Inn is seeking a dedicated Dog Trainer to develop and implement training programs on a part-time basis, with the potential to grow into a full-time role as demand increases.

Position: Dog Trainer (Part-Time with Full-Time Potential)
Location: Ruffin Inn, Buffalo, MN
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and performance

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement customized training plans for dogs of all breeds and behavior levels.
  2. Conduct individual and group training sessions, both on-site and potentially in clients' homes.
  3. Assess and address behavioral issues, providing solutions and techniques for effective training.
  4. Collaborate with pet owners to ensure they understand and can apply training techniques at home.
  5. Promote and market our training services to attract new clients and grow the training business.
  6. Stay current with the latest training methods and industry trends to provide the best possible service.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a dog trainer with a strong understanding of training techniques and behavior modification.
  2. Relevant certifications or training credentials preferred but not required.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate pet owners.
  4. A compassionate approach to working with both dogs and their owners.
  5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple training sessions and clients effectively.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
