Dog-E-Den is a busy Full-Service Dog Care facility in Sherman Oaks located on Ventura Blvd. near the Sherman Oaks Galleria. We are looking for experienced and responsible early morning dog handlers to join our team.

Dog handlers supervise, care for and play with our canine guests. We are searching for motivated dog lovers who don't mind hard work or getting dirty.

Employees MUST be available to work weekends and on holidays as this is our busiest time.

Available Shifts:

• 4am-11am
• 730a-230pm
• 10am-5pm
• 11am-6pm
• 2pm-8pm

Description:

• Supervising play
• Feeding

• Washing dog bowls
• General cleaning and janitorial chores

This is an enjoyable job with animals, but staff is not here just to "pet puppies"; there is barking, flying hair, poop/pee, vomit, dirty paws and very physical work involved. This position can also lead to a supervising role for the right candidate.

Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and should be comfortable handling all types of dogs in a humane manner. Applicants should have a flexible schedule and work weekends and holidays. You should be able to lift 50 lbs. and expect to be physically active for your entire shift. You should be able to work equally well either independently or as a team. Along with a strong work ethic and physical stamina, please be responsible, honest, patient and prompt; possess good verbal communication skills, a sense of humor and most importantly, a positive attitude. MUST LOVE DOGS!!
