Job summary

Bowie Barker in Westmont, IL is seeking an experienced dog groomer to join a modern salon focused on quality grooming and client care.

Complete 4-8 grooms per day, full-service grooming, breed-standard trims, and education for pet parents. Flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience preferred.
• Strong scissoring, finishing, and breed-standard grooming skills.
• Ability to groom a variety of breeds, coat types, and temperaments.

Responsibilities

• Complete 4-8 quality grooms per day while maintaining safety and attention to detail.
• Perform full-service grooms from bath to finish, including drying, brushing, haircutting, trimming, nail care, and finishing work.
• Execute breed-standard trims and custom styles.
• Educate pet parents on coat maintenance and grooming recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming station.
• Support a positive, team-focused environment.

Range $35-$60 per hour including commission and tips
