A leading dog daycare and spa service provider in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Dog Groomer who loves dogs! Your role includes conducting grooming services like baths and haircuts, ensuring safety, and providing excellent service to pet parents. ABOUT THE GROOMER ROLE:

• Conduct baths, haircuts, nail trims, and other services for all canine clients.
• Ensure full oversight and safety of the dogs in your care.
• Clean up after your canine clients throughout the day and ensure that all pets are completed with their grooming services at the assigned pick-up time.
• Work with the pet parent to provide the highest level of service and satisfaction for all spa services as requested.
• Must have the ability to groom large, overly excited, or frightened dogs while maintaining a safe environment.
• Every dog in your care leaves squeaky clean, smelling fresh, and looking like a million bones!

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Grooming License or Certification
• 1-2 years of work experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing required.
• Prolonged periods of wet environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Other Requirements:

• Must love dogs.
