Looking for a new place to plant your grooming salon? Big Oaks Kennel has the perfect grooming space for you! Big Oaks is looking to add a full-time experienced groomer to our wonderful team! You will be making commission and tips. We are a bustling boarding and daycare facility in the heart of Buda! Please send in your resume and email pictures of pets that you have groomed to [e-mail].

Responsibilities:

1. Be supplied with your own set of grooming tools
2. Be able to lift 50lbs
3. Work closely with our front desk staff to meet scheduling needs
4. Work closely with our kennel staff to meet the needs of the dogs
5. Handle baths and grooms of all shapes and sizes
6. Maintain a clean grooming area

Qualifications:

1. Have at least 2 years experience grooming
2. Have excellent communication skills
3. Be courteous and friendly to clients
4. Present a professional appearance at all times
5. Be able to upsell services
6. Familiarity with grooming techniques, including breed styling
