Morris Animal Inn is hiring a Part-Time Dog Daycare Counselor for our Morristown facility. Schedule is up to 29 hours weekly with shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM on weekdays; some weekends/holidays required.

Starting pay is $16.00-$17.00/hour based on experience. You will supervise dogs of various breeds/sizes, monitor behavior, and craft enrichment plans while maintaining a clean environment and providing daily updates to pet parents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Love dogs and be able to confidently handle dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Basic understanding of dog behavior and body language.
• Prior experience in dog daycare or boarding facility preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts.

We are now hiring Part-Time Dog Daycare Counselors at our Morristown facility.

Schedule: This is a part-time position, up to 29 hours per week. Shift lengths are determined by business needs and operational scheduling. Candidates must be available to start shifts between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM on weekdays. Some weekend and holiday availability is also required.

Pay: Starting rate is $16.00-$17.00/hour based on prior professional pet care experience.

What We're Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must love and be able to confidently handle dogs of all breeds and sizes; from the teacup type to the 'are you sure that's not a horse?' and everything in between
• A basic understanding of dog behavior and body language
• Prior experience in dog daycare or boarding facility (preferred, but not required)
• Ability to read and write in English (for documentation, communication, and safety procedures)
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts (essential as we care for dogs 365 days a year!).
