Job summary

Waggles Pet Resort in Chicagoland is seeking a Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. We welcome a passion for animal care and experience in dog walking, dog care, or pet sitting.

This is a full-time or part-time role with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday and occasional weekends. You will help run safe, high-energy playgroups, nurture a positive environment, and grow with a team that values safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of paid, professional pet-care experience.
• Willing to work full-time or part-time with Monday–Friday shifts and weekends as needed.
• Team player who communicates clearly and follows safety protocols.
• Cross-training in daycare and lodging is available.
• Reliable, upbeat, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage playgroups with a safety-first mindset.
• Keep suites and play spaces clean and sanitized.
• Feed, water, and move dogs between areas; document issues and communicate with the team.
• Cross-train with lodging guests and assist throughout the resort as needed.
• Preferred: support pickup/drop-off driving routes with a valid drivers license and safe record.

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day)

Here's what your day will look like:

• Manage playgroups with a safety-first mindset: monitor body language, energy levels, and group dynamics.
• Keep suites and play spaces clean and sanitized, because clean equals safe.
• Feed, water, and move dogs between areas; document any issues and communicate with the team.
• Cross-train with lodging guests and assist throughout the resort as needed.
• (Preferred) Support pickup/drop-off driving routes with a valid driver's license and safe record.

Here's How We Support Our Team

• Competitive Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
