Job summary

Kennelwood Pet Resorts is seeking a Part-Time Dog Day Camp Counselor to join our growing pet care team in St. Louis, MO.

You will help manage canine energy with breed- and size-appropriate activities, supervise playgroups, and ensure every guest receives enrichment and supervision. No experience is required, but you should be comfortable around dogs, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift 40–50 lbs regularly
• Walk dogs of all sizes on leashes
• Work around pet hair and dander
• A passion for animals
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide dogs in camp with exercise and enrichment
• Supervise group play sessions
• Maintain a clean camp yard and clean up after dogs
• Greet pet parents upon drop off and pick up
• Walk dogs for placement in correct activity
• May be cross-trained in other departments
