Job summary

Kennelwood Pet Resorts in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Full-Time Dog Day Camp Counselor to help manage energetic canine guests during the summer. You will lead breed- and size-appropriate activities, supervise play groups and ensure daily camp routines run smoothly.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a love for animals. No prior experience is necessary, and you’ll receive training, a friendly team, and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Standing or walking for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift 40–50 lbs regularly.
• Walk dogs of all sizes on leashes.
• Handle dogs of all sizes.
• Comfortable around pet hair and dander.
• Passion for animals.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Kennelwood Pet Resorts is looking for a Dog Day Camp Counselor to be a part of a growing industry leader pet care business for the Summer. As a Dog Day Camp Counselor, you are able to handle a lot of canine energy confidently due to training, experience and a knack for working with dogs. You make sure that pets participate in breed‑appropriate and size‑specific activities and carefully maintain order in all playgroups. Your organizational skills and attention to detail ensure that every animal guest receives all their Day Camp activities as expected.
