Job summary

Canine Companions in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Canine Early Care Technician to provide quality care for dams and litters at the Canine Early Development Center. You will sanitize kennels, perform general cleaning, assist with whelping, and maintain detailed care records under veterinary guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask and manage time effectively while staying organized.
• Familiarity with dog training, animal health, disability awareness and sensitivity.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation: clean and disinfect kennels, equipment and items as needed.
• Maintenance: perform housekeeping, laundry and routine cleaning.
• Dog care: feed, bathe, groom and support dental care as needed.
• Whelping: assist with whelping and delivery.
• Administrative: maintain dog records and care logs; report health concerns.
