Dog Gone Happy in Raleigh, NC is seeking caring dog lovers to join our team and grow with us. The role starts at $13.00 per hour with performance-based raises, and requires a kind, conscientious, and detail-oriented caregiver who can work a flexible schedule.

You’ll supervise playgroups, learn canine behavior, keep kennels clean, feed and water dogs, and communicate with pet parents. We value safety, teamwork, and excellent guest service in a fun, rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Team Player: Works well with others to ensure duties are completed and guests are cared for.
• Good Communicator: Communicate clearly with team, management and pet parents.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Playgroup Supervision: oversee dog playgroups and manage behavior.
• Canine Knowledge: learn dog behavior for a safe kennel and play area.
• Cleaning: maintain kennels, play areas, toys and messes.
• Daily Care: feed, provide fresh water and bedding; monitor comfort.
• Problem Solving: use common sense to address dog-related issues.
• Be Proactive: take on varied tasks with initiative.
• Work Together: collaborate with teammates.
• Guest Service: communicate with pet parents.
• Safety First: follow safety protocols for a safe environment.
