Job summary

K9 Resorts of Wayne is seeking a Part-Time Pet Care Technician dedicated to the well-being and happiness of dogs in our care. You will clean accommodations, give baths, and manage doggie daycare while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.

The role emphasizes hands-on care, strong communication and keen observation, with a friendly, can-do attitude and a love for dogs at the heart of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some weekend and holiday hours required.
• A Can-Do attitude with an outgoing, positive, enthusiastic personality.
• Demonstrate a love for dogs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the mission and goals of K9 Resorts.
• Ensure all guests are cared for in compliance with company standards.
• Oversee the health, safety and well-being of dogs in daycare and boarding.
• Maintain the sanitation of all accommodations and outdoor areas.
• Perform body checks to identify pre-existing conditions and/or injuries.
• Work on your feet for 8 hours or more.
• Running dogs from daycare or boarding to customers.
• Providing personal playtimes for dogs.
• Taking dogs outside for elimination breaks.
• Daily tasks include cleaning accommodations, giving baths, and managing doggie daycare.
