K9 Resorts in Sterling, VA is seeking a Part-Time Pet Care Technician to provide hands-on care for dogs, supervise playgroups, and maintain a clean, safe environment that reflects our luxury resort standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven setting, receive training, and help deliver a 5-star guest experience for every pet parent.

Qualifications

• A genuine love for dogs (non-negotiable).
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Comfortable with cleaning and pet care tasks.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions
• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture
