Qualifications

• Must have experience working with dogs - required.
• Understanding of dog body language and safe handling.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for entire shift, and work outdoors in Texas heat.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Providing food and water to animals according to a set schedule.
• Supervising animals and picking up after them.
• Playing with or supervising animals in play areas.
• Cleaning and disinfecting kennel facilities, equipment and other items.
• Checking boarded animals in and out.
• Administering medications.
• Monitoring health and behavior and reporting concerns.
