Job summary

Scenthound Northeast Georgia is hiring a Dog Bather / Groomer in Training at our South Forsyth center in Cumming, GA. You’ll learn bathing, drying, and routine wellness care with a clear path to a certified Groomer role through our training program.

This role offers hands-on dog care, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within a wellness-focused dog care company dedicated to helping dogs live healthier lives.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods.
• No prior grooming experience required; in-house training provided to become a Groomer.

Responsibilities

• Bathe, blow-dry, clip/grind nails, clean ears, brush coat, clean teeth, and express glands.
• Prepare dogs for grooming according to service ticket.
• Perform wellness checks using our S.C.E.N.T. Check app.
• Work as part of a team to ensure services are completed efficiently.
• Assist team members and ask for assistance when needed.
• Ensure the safety of all dogs and team members at all times.
• Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices.
• Perform other duties as needed to keep the center running smoothly.

About the Role
