Job summary

Scenthound is seeking a Dog Bather / Groomer in Training in the Atlanta area. You’ll start by bathing, drying, and performing basic wellness care, with a clear path to becoming a certified Groomer through our training program.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs and keep them clean and healthy.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willing to participate in a training program to progress to a Groomer role.

Responsibilities

• Bathe, blow-dry, clip/nail grind, clean ears, brush coat, clean teeth.
• Prep dogs for grooming according to service ticket.
• Perform wellness checks using the S.C.E.N.T. Check app.
• Work as part of a team to ensure services are completed efficiently.
• Assist team members and ask for assistance when needed.
• Ensure the safety of all dogs and team members at all times.
• Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices.
• Perform other duties to keep the center running smoothly.

• Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
• Perform other duties as needed to keep the center running smoothly
