Job summary

HukariAscendent Inc. is seeking an Executive Project Manager in Amarillo, TX to lead the execution of large-scale DOE/NNSA EPCM projects. You will ensure alignment with client objectives, scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.

The role requires deep PM expertise across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, with a strong focus on safety culture, regulatory compliance, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and professional experience.
• Minimum 11 years of project management experience supporting large NNSA engineering, procurement, and construction programs.
• Minimum 5 years of nuclear safety-related project experience in DOE, nuclear, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of DOE O 413.3B related to project planning, execution, and federal project management requirements.
• Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 quality assurance standards for nuclear facility design and construction.
• Experience implementing ANSI/EIA-748 EVMS.
• Familiarity with safety integration frameworks like DOE-STD-1189-2016.
• Strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning across complex projects.
• Develop and manage scopes, schedules, costs, budgets, contracts, and performance reports with disciplined controls.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership with clear lifecycle communication.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulatory requirements and nuclear safety standards (DOE 413.B, NQA-1).
• Lead and mentor construction project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive risk identification, mitigation, and resolution of technical challenges.
• Promote a strong safety culture across project teams and field environments.
• Support program-wide coordination across contractors, stakeholders, and third-party partners.
