Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a Psychologist for the DOE HRP program in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on psychological fitness for personnel with high-safety access and reports to the Site Occupational Medical Director.

Responsibilities include conducting HRP evaluations, training, oversight of testing, and timely reporting while maintaining strict security clearances and compliance with DOE requirements.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology with APA/CPA internship.
• Minimum three years of postdoctoral clinical experience focusing on psychological assessment.
• Valid, unrestricted New Mexico state license to practice clinical psychology.
• Eligibility for DOE access authorization (Q clearance).
• Be eligible for the appropriate DOE access authorization.

Responsibilities

• Part of a system of continuous evaluation to identify misjudgment or safety concerns.
• Complete HRP training, including OST psychological orientation.
• Provide technical oversight of HRP psychological testing and assessments.
• Obtain and hold DOE access authorization prior to conducting evaluations.
• Conduct evaluations: post-offer, annual recertifications, and SPEs.
• Ensure testing results are available for review during interviews.
• Notify OST HRP Medical Officer and Contracting Officer of emergent concerns.
• Provide written reports to the SOMD within twelve workdays after evaluation.
