Socket.dev is seeking a Hawaii Keiki Health Technician to coordinate school health tasks at Aiea Intermediate School. You will help organize screenings, promote wellness, collect data, and support health education. Virtual and in-person visits with an APRN are expected, with coverage of health rooms per HIDOE protocol.
The role involves 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30am-2:30pm, at a rate of $22.25 per hour. Paid leave aligns with the school calendar; summer breaks are not scheduled.
Under minimal supervision, the Hawaii Keiki (HK) Health Technician is responsible for coordinated school health tasks including; coordinating school wide screenings with community partners, health and wellness promotion, data collection and disease surveillance, coverage of the health needs of students, data entry and health education as requested. Will facilitate virtual and/or in person visits with a HK Nurse Practitioner (APRN). May cover school health rooms following Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) protocol as requested and approved by HK supervisor and school administration.
