Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions seeks a Warehouse Specialist Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead staff, and ensure timely, compliant material handling and delivery for DoD DoD programs in Albany, GA.

You will monitor operations, enforce SOPs, and coordinate with Government personnel to maintain audit readiness and safety, while driving efficiency and accuracy in inventory and shipments.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.
• An active Secret clearance.
• 3+ years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent within the past 5 years.
• Experience supervising warehouse, logistics, or supply operations in a military, government, or commercial distribution environment.
• Working knowledge of receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, issue/pick, and local delivery operations.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise personnel, assign workloads, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of operational requirements.
• Experience conducting quality inspections, ensuring compliance with SOPs, supporting audit readiness, and implementing cost saving factors.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing requirements and rapidly adjust to changing mission needs.
• Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor employees and coordinate with Government personnel.
• Proficiency using warehouse management systems and standard business software applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CAC eligibility and Tier 3 PSI.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the distribution warehouse and lead staff across all areas.
• Assign daily work priorities and distribute labor resources based on production schedules.
• Monitor receiving, stow, inventory movement, picking, packing, and local delivery activities to ensure timely mission execution.
• Act as on-site manager and Government point of contact during absence of the Warehouse Manager.
• Conduct routine walkthroughs and spot inspections to verify contract compliance, SOPs, quality, and safety.
• Monitor productivity and performance using WMS reports and metrics.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues and coordinate with Government personnel to meet priorities.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to productivity and inventory accuracy.
