Job summary

E&M Technologies, Inc. in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Video Maintenance Technician to join the team supporting NORAD CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN COMPLEX.

The role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining video, surveillance, and related systems within a high-security DoD environment. The position requires DoD 8140 certification, US citizenship, and the ability to work in challenging conditions with potential 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Must have DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• 3+ years or more of general work experience.
• 1.5+ years or more of directly related experience.
• Experience performing video systems maintenance/preventative maintenance inspections.
• Experience with operating and maintaining A/V Intrusion Detection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, verify, and operate the VDS, surveillance, and all associated equipment (routers, switches, etc.).
• Install, configure, verify, and operate IDS/surveillance cameras and related systems, and report outages.
• Work under supervision with guidance from the Project Manager.
• Run cables and terminate video/alarm equipment and related cabling.
• Route calls, transfer information, and handle administrative duties.
• Complete various tasks such as typing, checking, and recording information.
