Job summary

MLT Systems in Virginia is seeking JR, MID, and SR Systems Engineers to support the Program Manager Tactical Communications & Electromagnetic Warfare Systems (PM TCE).

The role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering systems engineering activities, documentation, and reviews with DoD stakeholders in a fast-paced defense environment. Secret clearance is required for mid and senior levels, with eligibility to obtain for junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field.
  • Jr-level: 0–2 years; Mid-level: 3–6 years; Sr-level: 7–9 years.
  • Secret Clearance required for mid and senior levels; Junior level requires ability to obtain Secret clearance.
  • Familiarity with DoD policies and guidance for acquisition planning and management.
  • Awareness of DoD Acquisition frameworks (AAP, ACAT, MTA, OTA).

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work.
  • Generate specifications and plans to support acquisition documentation.
  • Support technical findings, opinions, or recommendations.
  • Perform customer liaison, attend customer meetings.
  • Consult with stakeholders on technical applications to support program decisions.
  • Develop and deliver SE documentation (SE Plans, annexes, ECPs, RTMs).
  • Participate in Configuration Management activities.
  • Draft and staff safety reports under Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health processes.
  • Support Integrated Master Schedule with key engineering events and durations.
