Job summary

CRL Technologies in Lexington Park, MD is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator to join our on-site team supporting DoD information systems. The role requires Final DoD Top Secret clearance, no telework, and work at Patuxent River, MD.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience with Linux/Windows, virtualization, VDI, and networking, plus IAT II certification or timeline to obtain. A signing bonus and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience performing the duties described.
• Must meet IAT II certification requirements or obtain within six months after start.
• Security clearance: Final DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, administer, and maintain SAP information systems using virtualization, VDI, Linux, Windows, and various user software.
• Ensure information systems are secure, available, and able to obtain and maintain authority to operate.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for securing and operating information systems; communicate issues and plans with IT and management.
• Configure networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls) and assess proposed changes for implementation.
• Participate in change control and configuration management processes and document changes accordingly.
• May act as Data Transfer Agent using approved AFT procedures.
• Assist with management of COMSEC keying material and NSA Type 1 encryption devices.
