Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, DoD 8570 II certs, and Windows 11 experience.

Duties include Tier 1 support, patch testing, inventory control, and incident management. Primary hours are 0730–1600, with possible shift, overtime, and occasional weekend work to meet task demands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general full-time work experience.
• 1+ months of directly related IT experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) required.
• Working experience with Windows 11 OS.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 IT support and basic troubleshooting.
• Log and manage break/fix tickets for higher tiers.
• Test and install system patches.
• Manage asset disposition and inventory controls.
• Oversee incident request queue and SLA adherence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
