Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to support DoD security services for federal customers. The role involves STIG implementation, RMF lifecycle, vulnerability management, and system hardening across Windows and Linux environments.

Fort Belvoir and Chantilly, VA locations available. The candidate will administer and maintain OT and IT systems, perform patching, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure secure operation in a DoD context.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 5+ years IT, Cybersecurity, or Risk Management experience for Bachelor’s; 3+ years for Master’s.
• Knowledge of DoD RMF lifecycle, NIST 800-53 controls, and supporting documentation (eMASS, POA&M).
• Hands-on experience with ACAS, HBSS, vulnerability scanning, mitigation, and STIG implementation across systems.

Responsibilities

• Implementing DoD STIGs across traditional IT and OT systems.
• System hardening, patch management, and STIG implementation.
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows/Linux servers, network devices, and OT systems.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and document vulnerabilities.
• Assist in network and control system troubleshooting, including firewalls and OT networks.
