Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking active-duty U.S. military members for a SkillBridge internship that leads into an Inside Sales Representative role.

You'll gain hands-on training in Inside Sales, safety, and process disciplines while contributing to critical equipment solutions across North America. The internship offers a potential post-internship salary between $52K and $62K, depending on factors, with a Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM schedule and summer Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of local terrain and service area preferred.
• General computer proficiency.
• Experience in construction environments with heavy and small equipment.

Responsibilities

• Being the first point of contact for customers and providing essential sales and operational support.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; summer Saturdays 8 AM–12 PM.
• Assist customers in selecting equipment and negotiating rental rates.
• Maintain accurate rental transactions and inventory; coordinate with shop staff on repairs.
• Keep counters, showroom, and yard organized and safe.
• Support store operations, safety guidelines, and seasonal tasks.

What You'll Do

As an Inside Sales Representative,you'll be the first point of contact for customers while providing essentialsales and operational support.

Schedule: Monday-Friday| 8 AM - 5 PM and during the summer, our employees are on rotation forSaturdays 8 AM-12 PM

Compensation (if hired after the internship): hourly+ bonus program

Your day will include:

• Answering incoming calls, reservations, and dispatch requests
  
• Engaging customers in person and over the phone in a professional,friendly manner
  
• Walking the yard daily to stay familiar with equipment availability,condition, and repair status
  
• Understanding customer needs and recommending the safest, mostsuitable equipment
  
• Negotiating rental rates to maximize profitability and market share
  
• Loading and unloading equipment as needed
  
• Maintaining accurate rental transactions and inventory counts
  
• Communicating closely with shop staff on repairs and rent-readypriorities
  
• Keeping the counter, showroom, and yard clean and organized
  
• Supporting store organization, snow removal, and seasonal operations
  
• Following all safety guidelines and company procedures
  
• Performing additional duties as assigned
