Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Representative through the DOD SkillBridge Program. This 3-month immersive experience focuses on field construction observations, staking, and coordination with our services team to apply newly gained skills on real projects.

You will work on Minnesota sites (Chaska among others) and interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors. Candidate must be a military service member within 180 days of separation, able to work

Qualifications

• Must be a Military Service Member within 180 days of separation.
• Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and rugged terrain.
• General knowledge of public infrastructure/civil construction; AutoCAD drafting preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation; travel reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction observations and staking on assigned projects.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of construction activities and materials testing.
• Perform basic engineering computations and survey measurements.
• Gain experience reviewing project submittals, pay vouchers, work orders, change orders, and supplemental agreements.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
