Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Electronic Security System Installer to support the Pax River Naval Air Station and surrounding MD sites. A company vehicle is provided, and the role involves install, test, and programming of diverse security systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience with low voltage systems, and must be able to obtain DoD security clearance. Strong reading of blueprints and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience installing, inspecting, troubleshooting and/or repairing low voltage systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Effective written and oral communication; teamwork.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install low voltage electronic security systems including access controls, intrusion detection, and CCTV.
• Work with software platforms such as SoftwareHouse C-Cure 9000, Lenel, and other listed systems.
• Assist with programming, testing, and commissioning of systems.
• Coordinate with authorities and prepare necessary records for notifications.
• Provide end-user training and ensure safe, clean work sites.
