V2X, Inc. is seeking a Document Control Officer to provide classified security support at NAWS China Lake, CA. The role requires implementing security practices and procedures in line with DoD and DoN policies.

Responsibilities include managing document/media control databases, handling classified material through DoD courier channels, and ensuring proper labeling, storage, and destruction in accordance with applicable policies. Strong MS Office and prior SIMS/ADCS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and a final DoD TOP SECRET clearance (SSBI/SBPR/PPR/T5/T5R) completed within the last 6 years.
• Two years' experience in a DoD security environment; at least one year in a specialized classified environment is desired.
• Experience with document control databases such as SIMS or ADCS is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Populate and maintain an automated document/media control, accountability and tracking database.
• Receive and establish control for all incoming material and media, including classified material via DoD courier channels.
• Transmit material in accordance with DoD/DoN policies and facility SOPs, including couriering and electronic transmission.
• Verify storage capability of recipients and track material to indented recipients; report issues.
• Prepare material for transmission with external transfer receipts, mailing labels and required certifications.
• Maintain receipts, logs and certificates per DoD/DoN policies and customer direction.
• Coordinate destruction of material/media following applicable policies and SOPs.
• Archive material by scanning hard copies into electronic systems.
• Provide annual inventory reports to TSCO/ATSCO and participate in inventories.
• Operate secure communications equipment per SOPs.
