IDS International in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an Access Control Officer to manage access to secure facilities, verify credentials, and document security activities. The role utilizes government-provided security systems to ensure only authorized personnel and materials enter controlled areas.

The position requires DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, CPR/AED certification, and the ability to work shifts up to 12 hours. Prior experience with DISS or Scattered Castles is essential.

Competenze

U.S. citizen and able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Minimum of 2 years of experience using security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR and AED certifications required.

Mansioni

Control access of personnel, visitors, and equipment into and out of secure facilities.
Verify access authorization using government-provided security equipment, systems, and databases.
Perform face-to-ID verification checks for personnel entering controlled facilities.
Conduct entry and exit inspections and validate forms and documentation for items entering or leaving the facility.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and inspections per procedures.
Monitor and enforce access control procedures to maintain secure environments.
Follow posted security instructions and post orders with professionalism and vigilance.
Respond to security-related situations and emergencies per established protocols.
