Job summary

Allied Universal in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Security Officer with an active DoD Secret clearance and patrol driving responsibilities at an aerospace/defense site. You will monitor access, verify authorizations, and perform routine patrols while delivering outstanding customer service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, alarm panel and badge experience, CPR certification, and the ability to work a late afternoon schedule.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with access control and badge management.
• Proficiency with computers or tablets.
• Experience with alarm panel systems.
• Age requirement: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors and/or delivery personnel by enforcing security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures, maintain records.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of all areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies; document observations and notify site contacts.
• Protect sensitive information and billing assets by following access control and incident reporting procedures.
