Job summary

Leidos in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Logistics Supply Chain Specialist to place, track and receive orders for specialty hardware supporting research and development across multiple projects for the Directed Energy Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland AFB.

The role involves coordinating with technical staff and purchasing agents, tracking orders, delivering materials, and ensuring accurate information flow.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Associates degree or HS Diploma/equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience using CostPoint or similar procurement systems.
• High level of attention to detail with ability to communicate with upper management.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with a desire to help people overcome obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Work with Leidos technical staff and purchasing agents to place orders for materials and supplies.
• Ability to work multiple issues quickly and provide accurate information to staff.
• Track orders and provide delivery updates to our technical staff and customers.
• Receive orders, notify purchasing of delivery and deliver material to various locations.
