SarelaTech is seeking a skilled Desktop Installation Technician to join our IT team for a short-term assignment. You will install, configure, and maintain desktops, printers, and software to ensure staff productivity.

The role requires a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, hardware upgrades, and basic networking. On-site support and documentation are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Experience as Desktop Support Engineer or IT Technician.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11 and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install OS and software applications; maintain systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly.
• Provide network connectivity support and basic troubleshooting.
• Deliver end-user training and documentation.
• Document work in the help desk system and manage asset inventory.
• Assist with setup of new workstations.
