Job summary

CompQSoft Inc in San Diego seeks a System Administrator to maintain the security posture and operational readiness of CNIC/NIWC missions. You will ensure ATO compliance through continuous monitoring, patching, and STIG application for PSAC-EA, NPACS, and vLAMAS.

The role requires 4+ years of enterprise system administration, 2+ years in DoD/Federal environments, and an active DoD Secret clearance with IAT Level II or Security+ CE.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years of DoD or Federal systems experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+ CE required).
• Experience applying DISA STIGs and troubleshooting related issues.
• Experience with automated vulnerability scanning tools such as ACAS/Nessus.

Responsibilities

• Lead DISA STIG application, patching, imaging, and scanning for CNIC GBRS and PSIM.
• Regular vulnerability scanning (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation prioritization across DUCS/TUCS/PUCS environments.
• Support RMF and MFR packages; maintain eMASS artifacts and CNIC PSS standards.
• Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) per NAVWAR SIPH and CNIC PSS.
• Provide monthly cybersecurity workforce roster and contribute to weekly status reports.
• Maintain Baseline Configuration for Lab Development, Test, and Production environments; quarterly audits.
