Job summary

Blue Sky Innovators, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Business Financial Manager to support DARPA, delivering end-to-end financial stewardship for a diverse RandD portfolio.

You will manage DoW financial processes and DAI systems, lead procurement actions including MIPRs and DD Form 448, and contribute to RDTandE contracting strategies. A Top Secret/SCI clearance and strong financial analysis skills are required for success.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a financial management role within the DoW or a related government agency.
• Demonstrated mastery of the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system.
• Deep understanding of the Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) process and creation of purchase requisitions.
• Experience with DoW RDTandE contracting processes and funding mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end financial management for RandD programs.
• Manage the DAI financial system, transactions, and reports.
• Drive procurement actions, including MIPRs, and review DD Form 448 documentation.
• Support RDTandE contracting, BAAs, and OT agreements.
• Monitor budgets and deliver comprehensive status reports to program managers and leaders.
• Provide programmatic support and manage essential documentation.
